IBD note: The card has an annual fee of $150 . Unless getting 20,000 Delta SkyMiles leads to savings > $150 under some circumstances, I am not sure why anybody would want to apply for this card.

20,000 Delta SkyMiles (5,000 of which count as Medallion® Qualification Miles) will be awarded after your first purchase on the Platinum Delta SkyMiles Credit Card in the increments of 15,000 as a Welcome Bonus and 5,000 for this special offer.
